Role: Seasonal Temporary Respiratory Therapist

Responsibilities

• Perform respiratory assessments and monitor oxygen and aerosol therapies
• Manage ventilators and conduct arterial blood gas sampling and interpretation
• Implement physician-ordered treatment plans and document care electronically
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards
• Educate patients and families about respiratory conditions and treatments
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
• Adapt to fluctuating patient volumes, especially during seasonal peaks
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• Knowledge of cardiopulmonary conditions and respiratory therapy procedures
• Ability to perform assessments, manage equipment, and interpret clinical data
• Strong documentation skills and understanding of regulatory standards
• Effective communication skills for patient and team interactions
• Flexibility to work in a dynamic, fast-paced healthcare environment
