Role Overview: Provides comprehensive respiratory care to patients based on physician orders, acting as a key resource for medical and nursing staff. Performs direct patient care, consults on therapy effectiveness, and fulfills assigned duties to support patient recovery and well-being.

• Perform respiratory treatments and procedures using appropriate devices.
• Collaborate with physicians to evaluate therapy outcomes.
• Serve as an advanced resource for respiratory care best practices.
• Adhere to safety and equipment protocols during patient interactions.

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate of a CoArc-approved Respiratory Care program.
• Current state licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP).
• Credentialed with RRT or CRT certification from NBRC.
• Minimum of one year of clinical experience (excluding orientation).
• Proficiency with respiratory care equipment and procedures.
• Preferred experience in critical care settings.
• Necessary certifications include ACLS; PALS required for ER roles.
• Physical ability to perform tasks involving lifting, pulling, and maneuvering up to 50 lbs.
