We are seeking a motivated Respiratory Intern to join our respiratory care team, providing hands-on clinical experience for students enrolled in an accredited Respiratory Care program.

Responsibilities Include

  • Assisting with respiratory procedures and treatments within student scope of practice.
  • Observing, assessing, and reporting patient conditions to the respiratory care team.
  • Supporting implementation and evaluation of respiratory care plans.
  • Documenting patient care activities accurately in the electronic health record.
  • Educating patients and families about respiratory therapies.
  • Maintaining respiratory equipment and ensuring safety and cleanliness standards.
  • Communicating effectively with team members and participating in departmental meetings and education.

Qualifications

  • Enrollment in an accredited Respiratory Care program.
  • Current Temporary Educational Permit (Respiratory Student License) in Missouri.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
