Role: The RN Acute Care - Ortho Surgical provides high-quality, safe patient care within an interdisciplinary team, practicing according to professional standards and organizational policies.

Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments, diagnoses, planning, implementation, and evaluation using evidence-based practices.
• Deliver patient-centered care tailored to individual and cultural needs, involving patients and families in care planning.
• Coordinate and document safe, efficient care through effective communication and collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Support performance improvement initiatives, participate in research, and promote evidence-based practices.
• Mentor and serve as preceptor for colleagues and students, fostering professional growth.
• Develop protocols and optimize resource use to improve patient outcomes and reduce readmissions.
• Ensure compliance with all policies, standards, and accreditation requirements.
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• Associates or Bachelor's Nursing degree (Bachelor's preferred).
• Current RN license (single or multi-state), BLS certification, at least 5 years of RN experience.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to adapt in fast-paced environments and respond to emergencies professionally.
