Sales Director

Prenda is on a mission to empower learners. We help people run microschools, where small groups of kids meet, often in a home, and own their education. Purpose:

We are looking for a high-performing Sales Director. The successful candidate will lead a small team and drive for results, meeting customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives in a way that aligns with Prenda’s core values. Sales director duties will include hitting quarterly and annual targets, building relationships, and understanding customers at a deep level.

Responsibilities:

  • Own and meet/exceed annual sales targets.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base.
  • Build and maintain long-lasting customer relationships.
  • Cultivate a deep understanding of our customer persona and advocate for them inside the organization.
  • Partner with customers to meet their needs and objectives.
  • Effectively communicate the value proposition through outreach, proposals, and presentations.
  • Reporting on forces that shift tactical budgets and strategic direction of sales resources.

Education/Experience Requirements:

  • Proven sales executive experience with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets
  • Experience leading a remote team
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
  • Demonstrable experience as a sales leader, developing client-focused, differentiated and achievable solutions

Skills:

  • Ability to communicate, present, and influence all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
