The Role
As Market Manager, Georgia, you will lead the strategic launch, adoption, and expansion of “Manufacturing Georgia.” From your home base in Georgia, you’ll partner with manufacturers, educational institutions, and community leaders to increase platform engagement, deliver a best-in-class user experience, and champion manufacturing careers across the state. This role blends hands-on execution with strategic market leadership, requiring you to iterate quickly and adapt to stakeholder feedback.
What You’ll Own
- Georgia Market Strategy & Launch
- Develop and execute a go-to-market plan tailored to Georgia’s manufacturing landscape.
- Pilot platform rollouts—ranging from preview events to large-scale launches—and ensure each phase meets defined goals.
- You will be accountable for delivering against key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure platform development and user engagement.
- Stakeholder Engagement & Relationship Management
- Identify, secure, and manage relationships with manufacturers, educational partners, and industry influencers.
- Present “Manufacturing Georgia” at events, conferences, and webinars, building momentum and advocacy.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all Georgia-based platform users, ensuring their success and satisfaction.
- Platform Growth & Optimization
- Drive user acquisition and retention through localized marketing strategies, community outreach, and digital campaigns.
- Collaborate with internal product teams to refine features and functionality based on user feedback.
- Track and analyze platform metrics, producing regular reports on engagement, conversion, and other KPIs.
- Community Building & Advocacy
- Cultivate a vibrant online/offline community that celebrates modern manufacturing’s innovation and career opportunities.
- Overcome negative perceptions of the industry by highlighting success stories and cutting-edge advancements in Georgia.
- Partnership Development
- Forge strategic alliances that broaden the platform’s reach—securing content contributions from top manufacturers and promotional support from educational institutions.
- Coordinate with local government, nonprofit, and industry organizations to maximize the platform’s visibility and impact.
Target Profile
- Proven Market Leadership: 5–7 years experience in partnerships, market launch, or business development —ideally with a track record of building something from the ground up.
- Manufacturing & Workforce Development Insight: Familiarity with the manufacturing industry, technical/skill-based education, or workforce development programs.
- Relationship-Building Skills: Ability to engage diverse stakeholders, including C-suite executives, government bodies, and community partners.
- Data-Driven Mindset: Comfortable being accountable for KPIs and using analytics to guide decisions, track progress, and refine market strategies.
- Digital Marketing Expertise: Background in promoting digital platforms, leveraging social media, and managing online communities.
- Adaptability & Collaboration: Comfortable operating solo while collaborating across remote teams.
- Location – Must reside in Georgia and be comfortable with extensive in-state travel, as well as occasional out-of-state trips.

Contract Details
This is a contract-to-hire role designed to help us move quickly in a startup environment.
- Start Date: Summer (flexible)
- Hours: Flexible, with accountability tied to progress against KPIs
- Compensation: Competitive and commensurate with experience
- Benefits: While we are currently structured without benefits, our long-term vision includes building a core team as funding and traction increase.
