Classification: 1099 Independent Contractor

Rate: $24.00 -$26.00 per hour, payable monthly upon submission and approval of invoices.

Term: Approx. 12 months [Month] 1, 2025 – December 31, 2026, with potential to renew or convert to employment based on performance and business needs.

Learners use Unmudl to find courses for up-skilling, re-skilling, or self-improvement, while employers use it to create or coordinate courses for training and retraining their workforce to meet hiring needs.

About the Role:

The Talent Services & Success – Skills-to-Jobs® Guide (Contractor) serves as a learner success advisor and talent connector supporting Unmudl’s Skills-to-Jobs® Marketplace. The contractor helps working learners gain skills, credentials, and confidence to transition into high-demand technical roles, providing coaching, career readiness support, employer engagement, and data-driven job matching.

Core Responsibilities

  • Guide learners through Skill Path selection, enrollment, and completion to ensure job readiness.
  • Conduct intake interviews to assess goals and baseline technical ability; recommend appropriate Unmudl courses.
  • Monitor learner progress and proactively re-engage inactive learners.
  • Provide individualized coaching on resumes, applications, and interviews using approved templates
  • Coordinate voucher and scholarship processes with Finance and Learner Services.
  • Build and maintain learner and employer relationships to ensure engagement and placement success.
  • Collaborate with employer partners to forecast hiring needs and align training pipelines.
  • Maintain accurate learner and employer data in HubSpot; support reporting and analytics.
  • Host or support virtual career events and employer forums highlighting Unmudl-trained talent.
  • Ensure compliance with Unmudl policies, DEI commitments, and applicable labor laws.
  • Participate in weekly team syncs and submit KPI reports summarizing enrollment, completion, and placement performance.

Key Qualifications

  • Excellent communication and relationship management.
  • Strong sourcing, research, and closing skills.
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple pipelines.
  • Proficient in CRM (Hubspot), LMS, Ticket management software, and Google Suite.
  • Experience or familiarity with manufacturing, maintenance, or technical trades preferred.
  • Mission-driven with the ability to connect learners to life-changing opportunities.

The contractor is responsible for all applicable federal, state, and local taxes.
