About the Role:
The Manufacturing Talent Acquisition Specialist (Contractor) serves to provide recruitment services for Unmudl’s manufacturing clients. The contractor will identify skilled candidates, match them to employer needs, support their progress through hiring processes, and maintain accurate recruitment data.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with employers and the Executive Director to understand open technician roles, hiring timelines, and required skills—and match qualified candidates to the right opportunities.
- Source and engage technician talent across Unmudl’s Marketplace and partner colleges, using targeted outreach to keep a strong, active pipeline.
- Reconnect with past candidates and maintain momentum across the talent funnel.
- Provide candidates with interview coaching, preparation, and clear guidance through every stage of the hiring process.
- Organize virtual and in-person hiring events to showcase job-ready technician talent.
- Maintain accurate candidate and employer records in Unmudl systems, and report weekly on key hiring metrics.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Marketplace teams to increase visibility of technician talent and promote employer opportunities.
- Uphold Unmudl’s policies, confidentiality standards, DEI commitments, and all applicable labor requirements.
Key Qualifications
- 3+ years of recruiting experience, ideally in manufacturing, skilled trades, technical talent, or workforce development.
- Experience with CRM/ATS platforms (HubSpot preferred).
- Ability to manage multiple requisitions, timelines, and pipelines simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust with candidates and employers.
- High operational discipline with consistent follow-up, documentation, and data accuracy.
- Ability to work independently as a contractor in a fast-paced, outcome-driven environment.
The contractor is responsible for all applicable federal, state, and local taxes.
